Who we are
tantalum.info is published by Tantalum Strategy, an independent research desk founded by Priscilla Avila. Questions about this page or about data we hold: use the contact form or write to tantalum@priscillaavila.ai.
Reading the site
You can read every article, index and map without an account. We do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts. Three outside services still see your visit:
- Hosting (Vercel). The site is served by Vercel, which receives the technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver pages and protect the service. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Fonts (Google Fonts). Pages load the Inter typeface from Google's servers, so your browser sends Google its IP address and the page's request. See Google Fonts privacy.
- Advertising (Google AdSense). Every page loads Google's AdSense script. See the next section.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Google may also use cookies and similar technologies to measure ads and to detect fraud.
The AdSense script can set cookies on your device. In a test visit from the United States in October 2026, it set cookies named FCCDCF and FCNEC on tantalum.info, which Google's consent messaging uses to store privacy choices, and a test cookie on doubleclick.net. Which cookies appear can change with your location, your choices and what Google serves.
Your choices:
- Opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may be shown a consent message managed by Google before personalized ads are served.
Forms you choose to fill in
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address goes to MailerLite, which sends the newsletter for us. We use it only to send the newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link. See MailerLite's privacy policy.
- Contact form. Your name, email, organization (optional) and message are sent through FormSubmit, which emails them to us. We use them only to reply. See FormSubmit's privacy policy.
- Supply map corrections. The correction form on the supply map sends your message, the source link and, if you give them, your name and email to us by email through Resend (privacy policy). Nothing is stored on this site. If that service is unavailable, the form opens your own email app instead.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information, we do not run our own analytics, and we do not ask you to create an account.
